Wife of the Former President of Ghana Football Association Mrs Christine – Marine Nyantakyi has spoken for the first time after the Anas èxpose.
FIFA has banned Kwesi Nyantakyi from all football-related activity for life following the Anas exposè.
Christine-Nyantakyi in an exclusive interview with Paul Adom Otchere on ”Good Evening Ghana” on Metro Tv disclosed that the husband is very poor and that she’s inviting all media houses to cover where they live.
Christine-Marie Nyantakyi is the director of Oasis Montessori School at Teshie Greda Estates.
According to Christine, her husband was asked to pay $150,000 to Stop Anas from Premiering the Exposè which her husband paid $100,000 but the money was returned after the Exposè was premiered.
From her talks, it seems the family including her kids has suffered stigmatization from people.
The world’s football body adjudicatory chamber found Nyantakyi “guilty of having violated art. 19 (Conflicts of interest), art. 21 (Bribery and corruption) and art. 22 (Commission) of the FIFA Code of Ethics, 2012 edition.”
The one time Fifa executive committee member was filmed in an undercover investigation by controversial Ghanaian journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas taking $65,000 (£48,000) from an undercover reporter pretending to be a businessman. Nyantakyi has also been fined 500,000 Swiss francs(about $400, 000).
